Coloring Pages

Water Safety - This song and the associated coloring page focuses upon Kayaking and addresses such concerns as life jackets and other safety items. Please take some time to discuss with children other safety precautions they can take when on or near the water.

Self Esteem - Here is a coloring page that leaves room for creative input while at the same time promotes self esteem. Print the coloring page and ask your child or the children in your classroom to draw more stars in the sky, one for every person they love.

School Ground Bullying - Along with coloring this picture and listening to the song we ask that you please discuss bullying with your child or the children in your classroom. Ask them questions such as: "What would they do if a bully was bothering them on the school ground?" Discuss different ways of dealing with the bullies at your school or in your neighborhood.

Fire Safety - Here is a coloring page with an activity. Ask your child or the children in your classroom to color the pictures and then to circle, in red, those that can catch fire and to circle, in green, those that can put a fire out.

Seat Belt Safety - Print off this buckle up picture for your child or the children in your classroom to color and discuss the importance of seat belt safety. Take some time to talk about other safety precautions they can take when playing outside in an area where there are cars, either moving or parked.

Kissing The Hurt Away - Along with coloring this picture of a mom and her little boy, why not ask the children to make a list of all of those places on their body they have every cut or scraped. Ask them if they remember how each cut or scrape happened. Have everybody in your house or in your classroom wear a bandaid on their nose for a day.

Keeping Bad Secrets - Children can color this picture of a little girl whispering a secret to her teacher. In the word balloon provided have your child or the children in your classroom write one of their own secrets.

Dangerous Running - Nellie broke her leg and landed in the hospital. Along with coloring this picture, have the children make a list of things that can happen if they are not paying attention to where they are going.
